Intel® Core™ Ultra Processor Line Thermal and Power Specifications
The notes below are additional for Thermal and Power Specifications aside from those mentioned in Thermal Management of the Intel® Core™ Ultra 200H and 200U Series Processors Datasheet Volume 1 of 2.
Processor Temperature Specifications
| Segment | SKU Series | Symbol | Description | Temperature Range | TDP Specification Temperature Range | Notes |
|---|
| Min | Max | Min | Max |
|---|
| U/H-Processor Line BGA | PC Client | T_sensor | Sensor temperature limit | 0°C | 105°C | 35°C | 105°C | 1,2,3,4 |
| DTR | Sensor temperature limit | T_sensor Min | T_sensor Max | N/A | N/A | 5 |
| Notes: - The processor supports commercial ambient temperature range, and memory devices should operate in the same condition.
- For other sensor temperature specification, refer to the note mentioned in Processor Line Thermal and Power Specifications under Thermal Management in the Intel® Core™ Ultra 200H and 200U Series Processors Datasheet Volume 1 of 2 (RDC Document #842704)
-
The T_sensor used to define U-Processor Base Power (TDP) is 100°C. Operating the part at T_sensor max (105°C) is feasible but may result in slightly higher power than TDP. - The processor sensor temperature is monitored by Digital Temperature Sensors (DTS). For DTS accuracy, refer to Digital Thermal Sensor under Intel® Core™ Ultra 200H and 200U Series Processors Datasheet Volume 1 of 2 (RDC Document #842704).
- DTR is the range of T_sensor covering from T_sensor min to T_sensor max and/or T_sensor max to T_sensor min. No re-boot required for any boot temperature within the T_sensor limit range.
