About Ethernet Cmdlets for Intel® Ethernet

Intel provides Ethernet Cmdlets for Intel® Ethernet to:

  • Display information about Intel® Ethernet devices in the system

  • Configure device settings

  • Configure and gather firmware logs or debug dump information for debugging supported devices

  • Blink the LED on the specified port of an Intel Ethernet device for a defined number of seconds

  • Run hardware diagnostics

  • Save and Restore Config Cmdlets:

    • Save-IntelEthernetConfiguration: The Save-IntelEthernetConfiguration cmdlet saves the configuration settings of Intel® Ethernet devices on the system to a text file.

    • Restore-IntelEthernetConfiguration: The Restore-IntelEthernetConfiguration cmdlet restores the configuration for Intel® Ethernet devices on the system, using a text file produced by Save-IntelEthernetConfiguration.
