Platform Controller Hub (PCH)

The Intel NUC 12 Extreme / Pro X Kits feature the Intel® Z690 Platform Controller Hub with Direct Media Interface (DMI) interconnect providing interfaces to the processor and the USB, SATA, LAN, PCI Express interfaces. The Z690 is a centralized controller for the kit’s I/O paths.
