IDV Guest (Windows)

Note:If Veyon is not installed, follow steps 1 to 3 to install Veyon, else jump to Step 4.
  1. Download Veyon from this website. image117.png
  2. Open the downloaded file and proceed with the installation.

  4. After hitting Next/ I Agree three times, you will see this step where you must uncheck the Veyon Master and click Install.

  6. When the installation is complete, the Veyon configurator will show up and you may proceed with the setup.
  7. Copy the Veyon key from the IDV Server /home/idvuser/idvserver_​veyon.key, rename it to idvserver_​veyon.pem
  8. Go to the Authentication Keys tab and click Import Key to import the public key from Step 4.

  10. Enter the name as teacher.

  12. Go to Locations & computers and create a location named classroom.

  14. Go to General. In the Authentication section, select Key file authentication. Click Apply and exit.

  16. The IDV guest will be visible in Veyon Master on the IDV Server.
