Power Management

  1. Click the Power button and you will see two options, to either Shutdown or Reboot the host system.

  2. Both options will show a countdown based on the environment variable configured (EDUBOX_​SHUTDOWN_​TIMER). The setting is set to a default of 5 seconds.

  3. The user could manually stop the countdown if they wish to. The application will crosscheck with any VMs running in the background and abort the power management to prevent the Host from shutting down or restarting while any VMs are running in the background.
