Setup Samba

Install packages first:

opkg update && opkg install luci-app-samba4

Configure Samba in LuCI on the Services / Network Shares page

• Select the right interfaces to listen on

• Add shared directories, e.g. /tmp/sandbox

  • Need to create the directory with the correct file mode

• Save and apply

Connect the share by a client, e.g. smbclient on Ubuntu:

smbclient -U nobody -N //$host/sandbox
