Serial ATA (SATA)

The PCH SATA controller support two modes of operation, AHCI mode using memory space and RAID mode. The PCH SATA controller does not supports IDE legacy mode using I/O space. Therefore, AHCI software is required. The PCH SATA controller supports the Serial ATA Specification, Revision 3.2.
