Method 2 – Teaming Configuration Using Windows GUI
- Click the Server Manager icon on the Taskbar to open Server Manager.
Or search for Server Manager in the Start menu to open it.
- In Server Manager, in the left-hand pane, click Local Server.
- In the main window, locate the Network Adapters section.
- Click on the link next to NIC Teaming (such as Enabled or Disabled).
The NIC Teaming window opens.
- From the Tasks drop-down menu, select New Team.
- In the New Team window, provide a name for the team in theTeam Name field.
- Check the boxes of the network adapters you want to include in the team.
- From the Teaming Mode drop-down menu, select the desired Teaming Mode:
- Configure any additional settings or parameters specific to the selected Teaming Mode.
Available options might vary depending on the selected mode.
- Click on the Additional Properties link to access the Advanced Settings, such as load balancing algorithms, standby adapter configuration, and teaming and standby adapter properties.
- Once you have configured all the desired settings, click OK to create the team.
