Option 2: Application Independent Polling Method (ADQ2.0)

In this option, supported on Intel® Ethernet 800 Series Network adapters with ice driver version 1.9.X and above, the NAPI threads invoked through interrupts act as independent pollers and trigger busy polling on behalf of the applications.

The following figure shows an example setup of Intel® Ethernet 800 Series Network Adapters in a system using application independent polling method for serving different applications with independent poller threads to poll device queues and push the packets to application socket queues.
