​Check Kernel Boot Parameters

If Intel® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (Intel® VT-d) is enabled in the BIOS, Intel recommends that IOMMU be in pass-through mode for optimal host network performance. This eliminates DMA overhead on host traffic while enabling Virtual Machines (VMs) to still have the benefits of Intel® VT-d.

This is accomplished by adding the following line to the kernel boot parameters:

iommu=pt
