How to Follow Collections
Following collections is a feature of the RDC that allows you to bookmark an entire content library. You will be notified whenever any piece of content within the collection has been modified.
Sign in to your RDC account to fully access and manage this feature. Following or unfollowing collections can be managed in three locations:
Product Library Pages
Product library pages contain a dynamic list of the content libraries that fall into a particular category. These categories can be found on the RDC home page. Some examples of the categories for product library pages are processors and chipsets, memory and storage, and solutions.
The ability to follow collections on this type of page can be found in the Action column. Click Follow this Collection.
After the collection has been successfully followed, it will say "Following Collection" with a check mark.
To unfollow a collection, simply click "Following Collection," and it will revert back to its original state. You will no longer receive notifications related to content modifications within the collection.
Content Library Pages
Content library pages are a dynamic list of technical content for a single product, technology, solution, or platform. They can typically be found through product library pages or by selecting "View all products" from the RDC home page. Each content library is dedicated to a single product or platform that may fall into a larger category or products.
To follow a collection from this type of page, click Follow [library name] Collection.
After the collection has been successfully followed, it will say "Following [library name] Collection" with a check mark. Click the button again to unfollow the collection.
My Intel Dashboard
To follow a collection, you need to be on a content library page or a product library page. However, you can view all the collections you are following in the My Content section of the My Intel Dashboard. You can also unfollow a collection in this location or quickly navigate to the content library you are following.
To unfollow a collection from the My Intel Dashboard, you need to click on the title of the collection to reveal the collection description and actions available. In addition to "Unfollow," there are features that allow you to view updates for the collection or navigate to the collection on the RDC.
