Benchmark Hardware

Edge Developer Toolbox enables static telemetry and streaming telemetry flows. You can use the telemetry data to understand your application and platform performance. Performance visualizations through dedicated graphs provides insights to identify bottlenecks, potential optimizations, and the correct hardware sizing.

Edge Developer Toolbox supports these telemetry features:

• Static telemetry (also referred to as batch or historic telemetry) gives the entire historic data for post data processing.

• Streaming telemetry provides near real-time access to the data while the workload is executing.

The following lists the node (system) configurations supported by Edge Developer Toolbox Telemetry:

• Intel® processors with integrated GPU - Nodes with integrated GPU will display GPU-specific graphs for GPU Render Engine Usage, GPU Video Engine Usage, GPU Video Enhance engine usage.

• Intel® processors with discrete GPU - Nodes with discrete GPU have additional parameters to be monitored such as GPU power, GPU temperature and GPU memory.
