Import an AI Model from Open Model Zoo

In the workbench tab, click Import from Open Model Zoo, then select a model from the list.

You can find models suitable for a variety of tasks including classification, detection, image processing, image translation, semantic segmentation, question answering, action recognition, and salient object detection.

The model list also includes other details such as the framework used for the model, supported precisions, and links to license pages. Currently, more than 270 models are available.

You can also filter the list to narrow it down. For this example, we are looking for classification models. You can also filter by model name or framework.

As you click on each model, a brief description of it is shown below the list. For this example, we are choosing resnet-18 which was developed using the PyTorch* framework. Click Import to continue:

The model will be downloaded to your workspace in Edge Developer Toolbox. After a few moments, the download is done, and you will see a “Model Imported Successfully” message. Click Next to continue:
