CES 2022

CES News Conference with Gregory Bryant, Lisa Pearce and Amnon Shashua

1 Just last quarter, we launched our 12 th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, headlined by the world's best gaming processor - the Intel Core i9-12900K! As measured by unique features and superior in-game benchmark mode performance (score or frames per second) on majority of the 31 game titles tested (as of Oct 1, 2021), including in comparison to AMD Ryzen 5950X. Additional details available at http://www.intel.com/PerformanceIndex (12th Gen Intel Core desktop processors). Results may vary.
2 Built on our Intel 7 process node, these processors are the first-ever, performance hybrid design featuring TWO core architectures: performance core and efficient core Performance hybrid architecture combines two new core microarchitectures, Performance-cores (P-cores) and Efficient-cores (E-cores), on a single processor die. Select 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors (certain 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processors and lower) do not have performance hybrid architecture, only P-cores.
3 With Intel Thread Director built in, we ensure that the right workloads move to the right cores to deliver the best experience. Built into the hardware, Intel® Thread Director is provided only in performance hybrid architecture configurations of 12th Gen Intel® Core™ processors; OS enablement is required. Available features and functionality vary by OS.

13 Intel® Double Connect Technology enables dual simultaneous Wi-Fi connections which allow you to allocate the fastest bands for gaming and the slower band for file sharing for the ultimate Wi-Fi gaming experience. Intel® Wi-Fi 6E dual-radio products (Intel® Killer™ Wi-Fi 6E AX1690 & Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX411) with Intel® Double Connect Technology, when used with file transfer applications that support band aggregation, enable nearly 3 Gbps theoretical speeds with simultaneous 2.4 and 5 or 6GHz band aggregation. Based on the 802.11ax Wi-Fi standard, the theoretical maximum data rate for 2x2 802.11ax products in 5 or 6 GHz with 160 MHz channels is 2402 Mbps, and for 40 MHz channels in 2.4GHz is 573.5 Mbps, therefore band aggregation enables nearly 3Gbps (2402 + 573.5 = 2975.5 Mbps).
