IMR2MASK (IMR2MASK_0_0_0_MCHBAR_IMPH) – Offset 7944
IMR2MASK_0_0_0_MCHBAR_IMPH: This register, along with IMR2BASE, IMR2RAC, and IMR2WAC, defines an isolated region of memory that can be masked to prohibit certain system agents from accessing memory. When an agent sends a request to the IOP, whether snooped or not, an IMR may optionally prevent that transaction from changing the state of memory or from getting correct data in response to the operation, if the agent's SAI field does not specify the correct Policy. The IMR's Policy is configured by the IMR2RAC and IMR2WAC registers
Bit Range | Default | Access | Field Name and Description |
---|---|---|---|
31:0 | 0x0 | RW | IMR2_MASK (IMR2_MASK) IMR2_MASK - These bits are ANDed with bits 41:10 of the incoming address to determine if the combined result matches the IMR2BASE[31:0] value. A match indicates that the incoming address falls within the IMR2 region. |
