Prerequisites

For ADL IDV Build Server Setup:

Prepare the files listed below and save them in a Windows VM. Use WinSCP to transfer the file from the host to the Windows VM if needed.

1. Download and install NTLite on Windows VM from the official site.
Note:NTLite is free to download and use in its basic version for personal and trial purposes only. Read the license agreement for details. This document is based on NTLite v2024.4.9860
2. For Windows 10, download Windows 10 IoT Enterprise version 21H2 iso image. (While other versions of Windows 10 are not currently being validated, they may still work as well.)
3. For Windows 11, download Windows 11 IoT Enterprise version 22H2 iso image. (While other versions of Windows 11 are not currently being validated, they may still work as well.)
4. For cumulative update, follow as below:
   • For Windows 10, download ‘2023-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 21H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5026361)’. (If you are using a different version of Windows 10, you may need a different cumulative update.)

   Note:Make sure the correct ZCBuild version is chosen from the drop-down. By default, the latest ZCBuild version will be the first one.
   • Download “virtio-win-0.1.221.iso” from the link below.

   • Download Veyon 4.8.3 from the official GitHub release.
   • Download python from https://www.python.org/downloads/
   • Get the files below from IDV Server at /opt/idv/scripts/windows_​setup folder:
     • setup.idvguest.windows.bat
     • get_​veyon_​key.py
     • veyon-restart-service.idvguest.xml
     • veyon-update-key.idvguest.xml
