Enable Group Policy to Disable Graphics Driver Update
- Typing gpedit.msc in the search bar and launch the Local Group Policy Editor.
- On the left pane, navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Installation > Device Installation Restrictions.
- On the right pane, double click Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device IDs to display additional options to configure.
- In the new pop-up window, select the Enabled radio button.
- Click Show… to open a new window. Enter the device hardware ID copied earlier.
- Click the OK buttons on all the dialog windows to disable update for the graphics driver.
Note:To allow the graphics driver to be updated, follow the steps above, but select the Disabled radio button instead of the Enabled radio button.
