Testing ADQ with Memcached/rpc-perf

Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for data. rpc-perf is a benchmark meant to help measure the performance particularly throughput (request rate) and Latency (percentile). For this section, Memcached is used as an example of a real-world application with ADQ.

Note:This document is not intended to be a complete Memcached/rpc-perf configuration guide. Refer to Memcached/rpc-perf documentation for more details on usage.

There are two options to configure ADQ in Memcached server.

  • Option 1: Using ADQ Setup Script
  • Option 2: Using Linux Command Line (Manual Configuration)

Both configuration methods require the completion of the System Setup first.

Note:This section contains the steps for configuring ADQ using the setup script. For manual ADQ configuration, see Appendix: ADQ Configuration Reference (Manual)
