Event Log Configuration 1 (EVLCFG1) – Offset e8
The Event Log Configuration register is used to configure and manage the region of memory used by the hardware to report several types of error events. #671116 Section 5.9 describes the functional details of the event log. The size of event log entries is indicated by the Event Log Support field in GENCAP. This register is read-write while the device is Disabled and read-only otherwise.
| Bit Range | Default | Access | Field Name and Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| 63:36 | 0h | RO | Reserved |
| 35:16 | 0h | RW/L | EVLCFG1 PASID (PASID) If PASID Enable is 1, this field specifies the PASID value used for writes to the event log. |
| 15:0 | 0h | RW/L | Event Log Size (EVLSIZE) Indicates the number of entries in the event log. The maximum number of entries that may be written to the event log without overflow is this value minus 1.If Event Log Enable is 1, the following constraints apply:- Event Log Size = 64.- Event Log Base Address + Event Log Size × Event Log entry size = 2^64. |
